Otherwise, it could cause severe burns or serious injury.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>The figure shows the parts which are replaced in the following servicing procedure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005398.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005398.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>          <a name=\"id05131124870001\" id=\"id05131124870001\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Oil Cooler Removal\/Installation<\/h4>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>The oil cooler is built into the radiator.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. If the oil cooler is replaced, also replace the radiator. (See <a href=\"SM352719\">RADIATOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id05131124870002\" id=\"id05131124870002\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Oil Pipe No.1 Removal\/Installation<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Remove the selector lever knob. (See <a href=\"SM353197\">AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Remove the shift panel component. (See <a href=\"SM356197\">SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            4. Remove the upper panel. (See <a href=\"SM356228\">UPPER PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            5. Remove the parking brake lever boot panel. (See <a href=\"SM356180\">PARKING BRAKE LEVER BOOT PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            6. Remove the rear console. (See <a href=\"SM356194\">REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            7. Remove the front console panel. (See <a href=\"SM356230\">FRONT CONSOLE PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            8. Remove the front console component. (See <a href=\"SM356193\">FRONT CONSOLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            9. Disconnect the connector and wiring harness clip.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002845.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002845.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            10. Place a clean rag behind the engine so that the engine does not contact the rear housing when it is tilted.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004812.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004812.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            11. Remove the front crossmember under cover. (See <a href=\"SM356179\">FRONT CROSSMEMBER UNDER COVER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            12. Disconnect the control rod from the selector lever component. (See <a href=\"SM353197\">AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            13. Remove the tunnel member.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003817.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003817.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            14. Disconnect the HO2S connector. (See <a href=\"SM352822\">HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (HO2S) REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            15. Disconnect the TWC from the exhaust manifold (WU-TWC). (See <a href=\"SM352752\">EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            16. Suspend the TWC using a cable as shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002847.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002847.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            17. Remove the power plant frame. (See <a href=\"SM353157\">POWER PLANT FRAME REMOVAL [M66M-D]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            18. Tilt the transmission while being careful not to allow parts on the back of the engine to contact the vehicle body.<\/p>\n<p>            19. Disconnect the turbine sensor connector.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003526.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003526.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            20. Remove the bolts and nuts.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003483.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003483.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            21. Disconnect the oil hose.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003500.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003500.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            22. Remove the oil pipe No.1.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003484.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003484.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            23. Temporarily place oil pipe No.1 in its installation position.<\/p>\n<p>            24. Install the bolt and nuts.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003485.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003485.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            25. Install the oil pipe No.1 using the following procedure:<\/p>\n<p>              a. Temporarily tighten bolt A and B.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003486.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003486.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>              b. After lightly tightening bolt C, completely tighten it.<\/p>\n<p>              c. Completely tighten bolts A and B in the order of A and B.<\/p>\n<p>            26. Connect the oil hose. (See <a href=\"\"#id05131124870008\">Oil Hose Installation Note<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003500.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003500.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            27. Connect the turbine sensor connector.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003526.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003526.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            28. Install the power plant frame. (See <a href=\"SM353158\">POWER PLANT FRAME INSTALLATION [M66M-D]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            29. Remove the tunnel member temporarily.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003817.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003817.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            30. Install the TWC to the exhaust manifold (WU-TWC). (See <a href=\"SM352752\">EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            31. Connect the HO2S connector. (See <a href=\"SM352822\">HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (HO2S) REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            32. Install the tunnel member.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003818.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003818.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            33. Install the control rod from the selector lever component. (See <a href=\"SM353197\">AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            34. Install the front crossmember under cover. (See <a href=\"SM356179\">FRONT CROSSMEMBER UNDER COVER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            35. Connect the connector and wiring harness clip.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002845.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002845.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            36. (See <a href=\"SM356230\">FRONT CONSOLE PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            38. Install the rear console. (See <a href=\"SM356194\">REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            39. Install the parking brake lever boot panel. (See <a href=\"SM356180\">PARKING BRAKE LEVER BOOT PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            40. Install the upper panel. (See <a href=\"SM356228\">UPPER PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            41. Install the shift panel component. (See <a href=\"SM356197\">SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            42. Install the selector lever knob. (See <a href=\"SM353197\">AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            43. Connect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            44. Inspect for oil leakage from the oil pipes and oil hoses.<\/p>\n<p>            45. Inspect the ATF level and condition. (See <a href=\"SM353172\">AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID (ATF) INSPECTION [SJ6A-EL]<\/a>.)<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id05131124870003\" id=\"id05131124870003\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Oil Hose No.1 and No.2 Removal\/Installation<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Remove the oil hose No.1 and No.2.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003487.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003487.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            2. Install the oil hose No.1 and No.2. (See <a href=\"\"#id05131124870008\">Oil Hose Installation Note<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Inspect for oil leakage from the oil pipes and oil hoses.<\/p>\n<p>            4. Inspect the ATF level and condition. (See <a href=\"SM353172\">AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID (ATF) INSPECTION [SJ6A-EL]<\/a>.) Remove the oil pipe No.2.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003488.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003488.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            2. Install the oil pipe No.2 using the following procedure:<\/p>\n<p>              a. Temporarily tighten bolt A and B.<\/p>\n<p>              b. Completely tighten bolts A and B in the order of A and B.<\/p>\n<p>              c. Connect the oil hoses. (See <a href=\"\"#id05131124870008\">Oil Hose Installation Note<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Inspect for oil leakage from the oil pipes and oil hoses.<\/p>\n<p>            4. Inspect the ATF level and condition. (See <a href=\"SM353172\">AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID (ATF) INSPECTION [SJ6A-EL]<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"SM353181\">AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID (ATF) LEVEL ADJUSTMENT [SJ6A-EL]<\/a>.)<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id05131124870005\" id=\"id05131124870005\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Oil Hose No.3 and No.4 Removal\/Installation<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Remove the front crossmember under cover. (See <a href=\"SM356179\">FRONT CROSSMEMBER UNDER COVER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Remove the oil hose No.3 and No.4.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003489.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003489.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            3. Install in the reverse order of removal. (See <a href=\"\"#id05131124870008\">Oil Hose Installation Note<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            4. Inspect for oil leakage from the oil pipes and oil hoses.<\/p>\n<p>            5. Inspect the ATF level and condition. (See <a href=\"SM353172\">AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID (ATF) INSPECTION [SJ6A-EL]<\/a>.) Remove the front under cover. (See <a href=\"SM356165\">FRONT UNDER COVER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Remove the front crossmember under cover. (See <a href=\"SM356179\">FRONT CROSSMEMBER UNDER COVER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Disconnect the battery wiring harness clip.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003490.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003490.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            4. Remove the bolts.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003491.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003491.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            5. Remove the oil pipe No.3.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003492.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003492.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            6. Inspect for oil leakage from the oil pipes and oil hoses.<\/p>\n<p>            8. Inspect the ATF level and condition. Remove the front under cover. (See <a href=\"SM356165\">FRONT UNDER COVER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Remove the oil hose No.5 and No.6.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003493.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003493.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            3. Install in the reverse order of removal. (See <a href=\"\"#id05131124870008\">Oil Hose Installation Note<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"\"#id05131124870009\">Oil Hose No.5 (Radiator Side) Installation Note<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            4. Inspect for oil leakage from the oil pipes and oil hoses.<\/p>\n<p>            5. Inspect the ATF level and condition. (See <a href=\"SM353172\">AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID (ATF) INSPECTION [SJ6A-EL]<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"SM353181\">AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID (ATF) LEVEL ADJUSTMENT [SJ6A-EL]<\/a>.)<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id05131124870008\" id=\"id05131124870008\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Oil Hose Installation Note<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Align the marks on the hose and the pipe so that they are in a straight line.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003494.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003494.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            2. The marks on the hose and the pipe are within range A shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p>            3. If the hose does not insert easily, use ATF as a lubricating agent.<\/p>\n<p>            4. Wipe off the ATF remaining on the hose and pipe after installing the hose.<\/p>\n<p>            5. The hose clamp is within the marked area of the hose.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AC9WZW00003050.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AC9WZW00003050.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If reusing the hose, install the new hose clamp exactly on the mark left by the previous hose clamp.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            6. The hose clamp installation direction is within range B shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p>            7. Install the hose clamp onto the hose. Then apply force to the hose clamp in the direction of the arrow in order to fit the clamp in place.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ARDJJW00004938.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ARDJJW00004938.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            8. Verify that the hose clamp does not interfere with any other components.<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id05131124870009\" id=\"id05131124870009\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Oil Hose No.5 (Radiator Side) Installation Note<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Align the oil hose marking with the projection on the radiator and insert the oil hose into the radiator pipe installation area until it is abutted.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003495.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003495.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            2. The marks on the hose are within range A shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p>            3. If the hose does not insert easily, use ATF as a lubricating agent.<\/p>\n<p>            4. Wipe off the ATF remaining on the hose and pipe after installing the hose.<\/p>\n<p>            5. The hose clamp installation direction is within range B shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p>            7. Install the hose clamp onto the hose.
