Install the accumulator valve and compression springs to the transmission case.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003563.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003563.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Do not to damage the O-ring and accumulator piston.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            2. Coat the new O-rings with ATF, and install it to the accumulator piston (C-3).<\/p>\n<p>            3. Install the accumulator piston (C-3) and the compression spring to the transmission case.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003564.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003564.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            4. Coat the new O-rings with ATF, and install it to the accumulator pistons (C-2, B-3).<\/p>\n<p>            5. Install the compression springs and the snap rings to the accumulator pistons (C-2, B-3) using a flathead screwdriver.<\/p>\n<p>            6. Install the accumulator pistons (C-2, B-3) and the compression springs to the transmission case.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003565.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003565.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Do not to damage the gasket.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            7. Coat the new transmission gaskets and the new brake drum gaskets with ATF, and install them to the transmission case.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003566.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003566.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            8. Install the check valve sub-component and the compression spring to the transmission case.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003559.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003559.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            9. Connect the manual valve link and install the control valve body component.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003558.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003558.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>When installing, always put the wiring harness in the concave portion of the separator plate in the control valve body component as shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003567.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003567.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            10. Temporarily install the control valve body component with the bolts.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ARDJJW00005151.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ARDJJW00005151.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n                <b>Bolt length (measured from below the head)<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>A: 25 mm {0.98 in}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>B: 36 mm {1.4 in}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>C: 45 mm {1.8 in}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>D: 50 mm {2.0 in}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Align with the bolt holes and temporarily tighten the bolts by hand.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Tighten the bolts starting from the inner ones and moving in a criss-cross pattern.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            11. Tighten the bolts.<\/p>\n<ul>\n                <b>Tightening torque<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>10\u201412 N\u00b7m {102\u2014122 kgf\u00b7cm, 89\u2014106 in\u00b7lbf}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            12. Install the detent spring cover and detent spring with the bolt to the control valve body component.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003557.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003557.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n                <b>Tightening torque<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>8\u201412 N\u00b7m {82\u2014122 kgf\u00b7cm, 71\u2014106 in\u00b7lbf}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            13. Install the TFT sensor and the lock plate with the bolt to the control valve body component.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003555.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003555.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n                <b>Tightening torque<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>8\u201412 N\u00b7m {82\u2014122 kgf\u00b7cm, 71\u2014106 in\u00b7lbf}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            14. Connect the coupler component to the clamps.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003554.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003554.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            15. Connect the connectors to the solenoids.<\/p>\n<p>            16. Coat a new O-ring with ATF and install it to the oil strainer.<\/p>\n<p>            17. Install the oil strainer with the bolts to the control valve body component.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003553.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003553.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n                <b>Tightening torque<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>8\u201412 N\u00b7m {82\u2014122 kgf\u00b7cm, 71\u2014106 in\u00b7lbf}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Be careful not to allow foreign matter to penetrate the interior of the transmission.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            18. Clean the contact surface of oil pan and transmission case.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Clean the oil cleaner magnets before installing them.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            19. Install the magnets to the oil pan.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00000470.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00000470.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Do not to damage the contact surface of the transmission case and the oil pan.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Do not to deform the oil pan.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            20. Install a new oil pan gasket and the oil pan to the transmission case.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003569.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003569.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Be careful not to tighten the bolts excessively because the oil pan gasket is made of cork.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            21. Install the bolts to the transmission case.<\/p>\n<ul>\n                <b>Tightening torque<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>6.0\u20147.9 N\u00b7m {62\u201480 kgf\u00b7cm, 54\u201469 in\u00b7lbf}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            22. Connect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            23. Add ATF and, with the engine idling, inspect the ATF level and for leakage. (See <a href=\"SM353181\">AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID (ATF) LEVEL ADJUSTMENT [SJ6A-EL]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            24. Perform the mechanical system test. (See <a href=\"SM353166\">MECHANICAL SYSTEM TEST [SJ6A-EL]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            25. Perform the road test.
