Remove the two oil cooler line hoses and apply air pressure of <b>196 kPa {2.0 kgf\/cm<sup>2<\/sup>, 28 psi}<\/b> from the return hose (pipe) side.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003570.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003570.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Power flushing should be performed very carefully when removing the accumulated debris from the fluid baffle, otherwise the debris cannot be removed or the problem will worsen.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Performing back and forward power flushing two times each does not work because debris or particles flow out from the feed pipe side of the AT.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            2. If no air blows out of the feed side, flush the oil cooler lines using the power-flushing tool. Before power flushing, inspect the hoses\/lines and clamps. Power flushing must begin with back flushing followed by forward flushing to quickly dislodge the restriction. If back flushing is not performed before forward flushing, the restriction could further reduce the ATF flow through the internal mesh type baffle of the cooler and flushing will not be effective or possible.<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id05131171090003\" id=\"id05131171090003\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h5>Inspecting oil lines and clamps<\/h5>\n<p>            1. Always inspect the lines (hoses\/pipes) for cuts, crimps (pinched), cracks or any other damage before reusing them.<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If there is any malfunction, replace lines and clamps.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Always use new clamps when replacing hoses.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>          <a name=\"id05131171090004\" id=\"id05131171090004\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h5>Back flushing<\/h5>\n<p>            1. Following the power flushing equipment manufacturer\u2019s instructions, connect equipment so the flushing fluid flows in the opposite direction of normal fluid flow.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003571.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003571.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            2.
