Remove the snap pin from the tie-rod end.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002976.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002976.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            2. Loosen the tie-rod end nut.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002977.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002977.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            3. Using the <b>SST<\/b>, disconnect the steering knuckle and tie-rod end.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002978.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002978.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            4. Remove the nut from the tie-rod end.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002979.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002979.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            5. Place alignment marks as shown in the figure for proper installation.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002980.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002980.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            6. Remove the tie-rod end.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002981.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002981.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            7. Place alignment marks on the new tie-rod end in the same positions as the removed tie-rod end.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002982.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002982.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            8. Align the marks that were made before removing the tie-rod end, and assemble the tie-rod end to the tie rod.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002983.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002983.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            9. Verify that dimension A shown in the figure is within the specification.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003632.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003632.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n                <b>Specification<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>49.8\u201463.8 mm {1.97\u20142.51 in} (difference between left and right: 3 mm {0.1 in} or less)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If not within the specification, make adjustments so that dimension A is within the specification.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            10. Install the tie-rod end to the steering knuckle.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002985.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002985.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            11. Install the snap pin to the tie-rod end.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002986.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002986.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            12. After installation, inspect the front wheel alignment and adjust it if necessary.
