Install the rubber and spacer to the steering gear.<\/p>\n<p>            2. Install the EPS CM so that the projecting part of the EPS CM (rotor) is engaged with the notch in the rubber.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005370.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005370.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If the projecting part of the EPS CM (rotor) is not engaged with the notch in the rubber, adjust the position of the EPS CM projection (rotor).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            3. Tighten the bolts evenly.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005855.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005855.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>          <a name=\"id06130080210002\" id=\"id06130080210002\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Tie Rod Assembly Note<\/h4>\n<p>            1. If the stopper is placed at the steering rack end, move the stopper in the direction of the arrow so that a wrench can be hooked to the steering rack end.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005371.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005371.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            2. Install the <b>SST<\/b> to the torque wrench as shown in the figure, set it on the tie rod, and measure dimensions A and L shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ADEJJW00015170.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ADEJJW00015170.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            3. Tighten the tie rod after calculating the tightening torque using the following formula.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005788.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005788.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n                <b>Tightening torque<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>89???98 N\u00b7m {9.1???9.9 kgf\u00b7m, 66???72 ft\u00b7lbf}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n                <b>Calculation formula<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>T\u00d7(L\/A)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>T:Tightening torque (89???98 N\u00b7m {9.1???9.9 kgf\u00b7m, 66???72 ft\u00b7lbf})<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>L:Torque wrench effective length<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A:Length from center of tie rod to grip<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            4. Assemble the boot band to the boot.<\/p>\n<p>            2. Crimp the boot band using the <b>SST<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003466.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003466.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            3. Verify that the crimping clearance A is within the specification.<\/p>\n<ul>\n                <b>Specification<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>2.0???3.0 mm {0.08???0.11 in}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If crimping clearance A exceeds the specification, reduce <b>SST<\/b> clearance, and crimp the boot band again.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>If crimping clearance A is less than the specification, increase <b>SST<\/b> clearance, and crimp a new boot band.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            4. Rotate the by hand and verify that it is securely installed to the boot band.<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id06130080210004\" id=\"id06130080210004\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Tie-rod End Assembly Note<\/h4>\n<p>            1.
