    Air mix actuator drive signal is stopped right when the malfunction is determined. When the set temperature is 18.0 \u00b0C {64.0 \u00b0F}, it is fixed at MAX COLD, and when it is 32.0 \u00b0C {90.0 \u00b0F}, it is fixed MAX HOT.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \n Malfunction already exists when IG SW turned to ON<\/b><\/p>\n

\n INSPECT AIR MIX ACTUATOR (POTENTIOMETER) CIRCUIT FOR OPEN CIRCUIT<\/b><\/p>\n\n

Yes<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n

No<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Refer to the wiring diagram and verify whether or not there is a common connector between climate control unit terminal and air mix actuator terminal.<\/p>\n

    \n If there is a common connector:<\/b><\/p>\n
  • \n

    Determine the malfunctioning part by inspecting the common connector and the terminal for corrosion, damage, or pin disconnection, and the common wiring harness for an open circuit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \n If there is no common connector:<\/b><\/p>\n
    • \n

      Repair or replace the wiring harness which has an open circuit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

4<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n INSPECT AIR MIX ACTUATOR (POTENTIOMETER) CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO POWER SUPPLY<\/b><\/p>\n\n

Go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

No<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Refer to the wiring diagram and verify whether or not there is a common connector between climate control unit terminal and air mix actuator terminal.<\/p>\n

    \n If there is a common connector:<\/b><\/p>\n
  • \n

    Inspect the connector and terminals (corrosion, damage, pin disconnection).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Are the connector and terminals normal?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n

Yes<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

No<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Repair\/replace the malfunctioning vehicle wiring harness, connector, or terminal.<\/p>\n

After repair procedure, go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

6<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n VERIFY THAT SAME DTC IS NOT OUTPUT AGAIN<\/b><\/p>\n\n

Yes<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Repeat the inspection from Step 1.<\/p>\n

No<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
