      Twenty seconds after the ignition is switched ON, the air mix actuator drive signal is output normally again. Afterwards, motor output is stopped during malfunction determination.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n INSPECT AIR MIX LINK OPERATION<\/b><\/p>\n

    Operate the air mix link manually.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Does the air mix link operate smoothly?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Yes<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Reconnect the disconnected connector, then go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n

No<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Replace the air mix link and the air mix crank.<\/p>\n

Go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

4<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n INSPECT AIR MIX ACTUATOR CIRCUIT FOR OPEN CIRCUIT OR SHORT TO GROUND<\/b><\/p>\n\n

Yes<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n

No<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Refer to the wiring diagram and verify whether or not there is a common connector between climate control unit terminal and air mix actuator terminal.<\/p>\n

    \n If there is a common connector:<\/b><\/p>\n
  • \n

    Determine the malfunctioning part by inspecting the common connector and the terminal for corrosion, damage, or pin disconnection, and the common wiring harness for an open circuit or short to ground.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \n If there is no common connector:<\/b><\/p>\n
    • \n

      Repair or replace the wiring harness which has an open circuit or short to ground.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n

5<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n VERIFY CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT CONNECTOR CONDITION<\/b><\/p>\n
    \n
  • \n

    Inspect the connector and terminals (corrosion, damage, pin disconnection).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Are the connector and terminals normal?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Yes<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n

No<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Repair\/replace the malfunctioning vehicle wiring harness, connector, or terminal.<\/p>\n

After repair procedure, go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n

6<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n VERIFY THAT SAME DTC IS NOT OUTPUT AGAIN<\/b><\/p>\n\n

Yes<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Repeat the inspection from Step 1.<\/p>\n

\n

No<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

7<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT<\/b><\/p>\n\n

Perform the corresponding DTC inspection.<\/p>\n
