Inspect the refrigerant pressure. (See <a href=\"SM353304\">REFRIGERANT PRESSURE CHECK<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Place a dry-bulb thermometer in the driver-side center ventilator outlet.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003821.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003821.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            3. Start the engine and warm it up.<\/p>\n<p>            4. Prepare the vehicle as follows.<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Airflow volume: MAX HI<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A\/C switch: ON<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Air intake port: REC<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Airflow temperature: MAX COLD<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Airflow mode: VENT<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Hood: Open<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>All the doors and the trunk: Close<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>All the windows: Close<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Engine speed: <b>1,500 rpm<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            5. Wait until the air conditioner output temperature stabilizes. (The A\/C compressor repeatedly turns on and off at regular intervals.)<\/p>\n<p>            6. Verify the air conditioner output temperature and the ambient temperature.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Measure the air conditioner output temperature after <b>approx. 10 min<\/b> have elapsed from engine start.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            7. Verify that there is air conditioner output temperature readings within the shaded areas of the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003822.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003822.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If not as verified, inspect the refrigerant system according to the troubleshooting chart.
