Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n<p>              a. Passenger\u2019s side scuff plate (See <a href=\"SM356211\">SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              b. Passenger\u2019s side front side trim (See <a href=\"SM356199\">FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              c. Passenger\u2019s side A-pillar trim (See <a href=\"SM356198\">A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              d. Passenger-side lower panel (See <a href=\"SM356210\">PASSENGER-SIDE LOWER PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Remove the screw.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005658.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005658.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            4. Remove the side duct.<\/p>\n<p>            5. Remove the duct.<\/p>\n<p>            6. Remove the auto leveling control module. (Without adaptive front lighting system (AFS)) (See <a href=\"SM356256\">AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            7. Remove the adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module. (With adaptive front lighting system (AFS)) (See <a href=\"SM353669\">ADAPTIVE FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM (AFS) CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            8. Remove the blower fan controller. (See <a href=\"SM353308\">BLOWER FAN CONTROLLER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            9. Verify that the resistance between the terminals of the blower fan controller is as shown in the table.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004902.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004902.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If there is any malfunction, replace the blower fan controller. (See <a href=\"SM353308\">BLOWER FAN CONTROLLER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>If the blower motor operation is not normal even though no malfunction can be verified, inspect the climate control unit. (See <a href=\"SM353347\">CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER]<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"SM353361\">CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [MANUAL AIR CONDITIONER]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If a malfunction cannot be verified in the climate control unit, even if the climate control unit inspection is performed, it is possible that there is a malfunction in the blower fan controller internal circuit (electronic circuit).
