Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Adjust the magnetic clutch clearance. (See <a href=\"SM353311\">MAGNETIC CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT<\/a>.)<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id07110000630001\" id=\"id07110000630001\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Bolt Removal\/Installation Note<\/h4>\n<p>            1. When removing or installing the bolt, lock the A\/C compressor pulley against rotation using the following procedure.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>When connecting the positive battery cable to the magnetic clutch connector, use a cable with a female terminal of the correct size. Otherwise, load will be applied to the terminal, resulting in deformation or damage, and poor contact. In addition, the positive battery cable could disconnect from the connector resulting in a short circuit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>              a. Apply battery positive voltage to the magnetic clutch connector and connect the A\/C compressor to the ground.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003842.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003842.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>              b. Wrap the drive belt, which is no longer of use, tightly around the A\/C compressor pulley.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003843.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003843.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>              c. Hold the drive belt in place with pliers.<\/p>\n<p>              d. Remove\/installation the bolt.<\/p>\n<p>          <a name=\"id07110000630002\" id=\"id07110000630002\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Snap Ring Removal\/Installation Note<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Remove\/install the snap ring using a snap ring pliers.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003844.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003844.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>          <a name=\"id07110000630003\" id=\"id07110000630003\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>A\/C Compressor Pulley Removal Note<\/h4>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If the A\/C compressor pulley is removed with the SST (49 0839 425C) tabs attached to the stator, the stator could be damaged. When using the SST (49 0839 425C), make sure the tabs are not attached.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003845.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003845.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            1. Remove the A\/C compressor pulley using the <b>SST (49 0839 425C)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Wrap protective tape around the tabs of the <b>SST (49 0839 425C)<\/b> so that the A\/C compressor pulley is not scratched.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003846.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003846.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>          <a name=\"id07110000630004\" id=\"id07110000630004\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>A\/C Compressor Pulley Installation Note<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Set the <b>SST (49 B034 212)<\/b> as shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003847.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003847.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If the SST is not properly positioned when the A\/C compressor pulley is press-fit, the A\/C compressor axle will interfere with the SST, possibly damaging component parts. Verify the SST and axle are properly positioned and perform the procedure very carefully.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            2.
