2016 – MX-5 – HVAC<\/h2>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

DUST FILTER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/h3>\n

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2. Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n

a. Passenger-side scuff plate (See SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

b. Passenger-side front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

c. Passenger-side A-pillar trim (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

d. Passenger-side lower panel (See PASSENGER-SIDE LOWER PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3. Remove the screw.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

4. Remove the side duct.<\/p>\n

5. Remove the duct.<\/p>\n

6. Disconnect the connectors.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

7. Spread the hooks of the dust filter cover in the directions of arrow (1) shown in the figure and detach the hooks of the dust filter cover from the tabs of the A\/C unit.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

8. Remove the dust filter cover.<\/p>\n

9. Remove the dust filter.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

10. Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n
