Read the SRS air bag system service warnings and cautions before handling the air bag module. (See <a href=\"SM353470\">AIR BAG SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM]<\/a>.) Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for <b>1 min or more<\/b>. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Discharge the refrigerant from the system. (See <a href=\"SM353305\">REFRIGERANT RECOVERY<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"SM353303\">REFRIGERANT CHARGING<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            4. Drain the engine coolant. (See <a href=\"SM352713\">ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            5. Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n<p>              a. Selector lever knob (AT) (See <a href=\"SM353197\">AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              b. Shift lever knob (MT)<\/p>\n<p>              c. Shift panel component (See <a href=\"SM356197\">SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              d. Upper panel (See <a href=\"SM356228\">UPPER PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              e. Parking brake lever boot panel (See <a href=\"SM356180\">PARKING BRAKE LEVER BOOT PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              f. Rear console (See <a href=\"SM356194\">REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              g. Remove the bolt.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005645.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005645.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If moisture or foreign matter enters the refrigeration cycle, cooling ability will be lowered and abnormal noise will occur. Always immediately plug all open fittings after removing any refrigeration cycle parts to keep moisture or foreign matter out of the cycle.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            7. Disconnect the cooler pipe (LO) and cooler pipe (HI) C.<\/p>\n<p>            8. Remove the clips.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005646.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005646.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            9. Disconnect the heater hoses.<\/p>\n<p>            10. While pressing the clip tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, press the clip in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the clip tabs from the A\/C unit.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003862.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003862.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            11. Remove the clips.<\/p>\n<p>            12. Partially peel back passenger-side floor covering No.1. (See <a href=\"SM356206\">FLOOR COVERING REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            13. Remove the nuts.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003863.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003863.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            14. Remove the A\/C unit. Do not allow compressor oil or engine coolant to spill.<\/p>\n<p>            15. Remove the accessory socket. (See <a href=\"SM356356\">ACCESSORY SOCKET REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            16. Remove the accessory socket short-cord. (See <a href=\"SM353318\">A\/C UNIT DISASSEMBLY\/ASSEMBLY<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            17. Install in the reverse order of removal. (See <a href=\"\"#id07110080020001\">A\/C Unit Installation Note<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            18. When replacing the A\/C unit, add compressor oil to the refrigerant cycle.<\/p>\n<ul>\n                <b>Supplemental compressor oil amount (approx. quantity)<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>40 ml {40 cc, 1.4 US fl oz}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            19. Inspect for engine coolant leakage. (See <a href=\"SM352712\">ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)q<\/p>\n<p>            20. Perform the refrigerant system performance test. (See <a href=\"SM353302\">REFRIGERANT SYSTEM PERFORMANCE TEST<\/a>.)<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id07110080020001\" id=\"id07110080020001\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>A\/C Unit Installation Note<\/h4>\n<p>            1.
