Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Discharge the refrigerant from the system. (See <a href=\"SM353305\">REFRIGERANT RECOVERY<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"SM353303\">REFRIGERANT CHARGING<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Remove the coolant reserve tank. (See <a href=\"SM352715\">COOLANT RESERVE TANK REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            4. Set the resonance duct and air intake hoses No.1 and 2 aside as a single unit. (With resonance chamber No.2) (See <a href=\"SM352777\">GENERATOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            5. Remove the air cleaner, air hose and resonance chamber No.1 as a single unit. (See <a href=\"SM352729\">INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            6. Remove the battery and battery tray. (See <a href=\"SM352780\">BATTERY REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            7. While pressing the clip tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, press the clip in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the clip tabs from the bracket.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003868.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003868.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            8. Remove the clip.<\/p>\n<p>            9. While pressing the clip tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, press the clip in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the clip tabs from the bracket.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005648.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005648.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            10. Remove the clips.<\/p>\n<p>            11. Remove the drive belt. (See <a href=\"SM352691\">DRIVE BELT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            12. Remove the drive belt auto tensioner. (See <a href=\"SM352677\">DRIVE BELT AUTO TENSIONER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            13. Remove the generator terminal B. (See <a href=\"SM352777\">GENERATOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            14. Disconnect the generator connector. (See <a href=\"SM352777\">GENERATOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            15. Remove the generator. (See <a href=\"SM352777\">GENERATOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            16. Remove the bolts.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003870.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003870.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If moisture or foreign matter enters the refrigeration cycle, cooling ability will be lowered and abnormal noise will occur. Always immediately plug all open fittings after removing any refrigeration cycle parts to keep moisture or foreign matter out of the cycle.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            17. Disconnect the cooler hose (LO) and cooler pipe (HI) A.<\/p>\n<p>            18. Disconnect the connector.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003871.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003871.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            19. Remove the bolt. (AT)<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003872.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003872.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            20. Remove the bolts.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003873.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003873.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            21. Remove the bracket.<\/p>\n<p>            22. Remove the bolts.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003874.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003874.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If moisture or foreign matter enters the refrigeration cycle, cooling ability will be lowered and abnormal noise will occur. Remove the A\/C compressor. Do not allow compressor oil to spill.<\/p>\n<p>            24. Install in the reverse order of removal. (See <a href=\"\"#id07110080100001\">A\/C Compressor Installation Note<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            25. Perform the refrigerant system performance test. (See <a href=\"SM353302\">REFRIGERANT SYSTEM PERFORMANCE TEST<\/a>.)<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id07110080100001\" id=\"id07110080100001\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>A\/C Compressor Installation Note<\/h4>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Due to the high moisture-absorption characteristics of the compressor oil, it may absorb moisture if left over a long period of time thereby negatively affecting A\/C operation. Drain the compressor oil and refill <b>within 10 min<\/b> of each other.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Rotate the new A\/C compressor shaft <b>6 to 8 revolutions<\/b> while pouring compressor oil into a clean measuring container.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Use this compressor oil to refill the new compressor. Do not allow compressor oil to become contaminated.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            2. Rotate the old A\/C compressor shaft <b>6 to 8 revolutions<\/b> while adding compressor oil to a separate, clean measuring container.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Compare the compressor oil amounts.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>The amount of the compressor oil drained from the new A\/C compressor should be more than the old one.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            4.
