Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n<p>              a. Selector lever knob (AT) (See <a href=\"SM353197\">AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              b. Shift lever knob (MT)<\/p>\n<p>              c. Shift panel component (See <a href=\"SM356197\">SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              d. Upper panel (See <a href=\"SM356228\">UPPER PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              e. Parking brake lever boot panel (See <a href=\"SM356180\">PARKING BRAKE LEVER BOOT PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              f. Rear console (See <a href=\"SM356194\">REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              g. Front console panel (See <a href=\"SM356230\">FRONT CONSOLE PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              h. Front console component (See <a href=\"SM356193\">FRONT CONSOLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              i. Scuff plate (See <a href=\"SM356211\">SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              j. Front side trim (See <a href=\"SM356199\">FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              k. A-pillar trim (See <a href=\"SM356198\">A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              l. Hood release lever (See <a href=\"SM356088\">HOOD RELEASE LEVER AND RELEASE CABLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              m. Driver-side lower panel (See <a href=\"SM356209\">DRIVER-SIDE LOWER PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              n. Passenger-side lower panel (See <a href=\"SM356210\">PASSENGER-SIDE LOWER PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              o. Center panel No.1 (See <a href=\"SM356181\">CENTER PANEL No.1 REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Disconnect the connector.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005519.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005519.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            4. Disconnect the hose.<\/p>\n<p>            5. Remove the screws.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003941.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003941.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            6. Remove the climate control unit.<\/p>\n<p>            7. Disconnect the connector.<\/p>\n<p>            8. Remove the passenger compartment temperature sensor. (See <a href=\"SM353342\">PASSENGER COMPARTMENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            9. While pressing the sensor grille tab, press the sensor grille in the direction of arrow (1) to detach the sensor grille tab from the climate control unit.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003942.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003942.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            10. Remove the sensor grille.<\/p>\n<p>            11. Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n<p>            12. Perform the climate control unit auto configuration using the following procedure.<\/p>\n<p>              a. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for <b>1 min or more<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>              b. Switch the ignition off and wait for <b>3 s or more<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>              c. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and complete the climate control unit auto configuration.<\/p>\n<p>            13. Perform the DTC inspection for the climate control unit using the M-MDS. (See <a href=\"SM353257\">DTC DISPLAY [CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT (FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If a DTC is detected, perform troubleshooting according to the DTC.
