When performing calibration, keep the temperature of the occupant classification mat sensor and the occupant classification sensor unit nearly uniform.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If any of the following work is performed, perform the occupant classification sensor calibration using the M-MDS.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<ul type=\"square\">\n<li>\n<p>Replacement with a new occupant classification sensor<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Replacement with new passenger-side seat parts<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Disassembly of the passenger-side seat<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If any of the following work is performed, perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS and verify that no DTCs are displayed. (See <a href=\"SM353414\">DTC INSPECTION [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<ul type=\"square\">\n<li>\n<p>Removal of the passenger-side seat<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Loosening and retightening of passenger\u2019s seat fixing bolts<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Or, the vehicle is involved in a collision<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If any DTCs are displayed, perform malfunction repair referring to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See <a href=\"SM353416\">DTC TABLE [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.<\/p>\n<p>            2. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initial screen of the M-MDS.<\/p>\n<p>              a. Select \u201cBody\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>              b. Select \u201cCalibration for Passenger Seat Sensor\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>            3.
