Switch the ignition off.<\/p>\n<p>            2. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for <b>1 min or more<\/b>. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Remove the seat. (See <a href=\"SM356082\">SEAT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            4. Disconnect the connector as shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004117.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004117.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            5. Remove the clip.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004118.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004118.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            6. Remove the bolt.<\/p>\n<p>            7. Remove the buckle.<\/p>\n<p>            8. Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n<p>            9. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).<\/p>\n<p>            10. Verify that the air bag\/seat belt pre-tensioner system warning light illuminates for <b>approx. 6 s<\/b> and turns off.<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If the air bag\/seat belt pre-tensioner system warning light does not operate, refer to the on-board diagnostic system (air bag system) and perform inspection of the system.
