SPOT MONITORING (BSM) CONTROL MODULES (RH) DEPENDING ON REPEATABILITY<\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Always reconnect all disconnected connectors.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Connect the negative battery cable.<\/p>\n<p>(See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Clear the DTC for the blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module using the M-MDS.<\/p>\n<p>(See <a href=\"SM353591\">CLEARING DTC [BLIND SPOT MONITORING (BSM) CONTROL MODULE]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for <b>2.5 s or more<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Retrieve the blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module DTCs using the M-MDS.<\/p>\n<p>(See <a href=\"SM353590\">DTC INSPECTION [BLIND SPOT MONITORING (BSM) CONTROL MODULE]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Is the same DTC displayed?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<td valign=\"top\" align=\"center\" cellspacing=\"\" rowspan=\"\" colspan=\"NaN\">\n<p>Yes<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<td valign=\"top\" align=\"left\" cellspacing=\"\" rowspan=\"\" colspan=\"NaN\">\n<p>Repeat the inspection from Step 1.<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If the
