Connect the M-MDS to the vehicle and perform vehicle identification before removing the FSC. The vehicle specification information is temporarily stored in the M-MDS.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>The FSC prior to replacement stores the vehicle specification information.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A new FSC does not store any vehicle specification information.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>If the vehicle specification information from the FSC prior to replacement cannot be read, perform the configuration using As-Built data.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. When replacing the FSC, perform the configuration. (See <a href=\"SM353674\">FORWARD SENSING CAMERA (FSC) CONFIGURATION (USING READ\/WRITE FUNCTION)<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Remove the sensor cover. (See <a href=\"SM356075\">SENSOR COVER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            4. Pull the FSC in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove the FSC pin from FSC clip A.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002660.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002660.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            5. Rotate the FSC in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure, remove the FSC hook from FSC clip B, and remove the FSC.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002661.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002661.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            6. Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If configuration cannot be performed by reading\/writing of the vehicle specification information, perform the configuration using As-Built information after replacing the FSC. (See <a href=\"SM353675\">FORWARD SENSING CAMERA (FSC) CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA)<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            7. If the FSC is replaced, perform the FSC aiming (See <a href=\"SM353673\">FORWARD SENSING CAMERA (FSC) AIMING<\/a>.).<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If FSC aiming is not performed after replacing the FSC, the related systems controlled by the FSC will not operate because the FSC cannot store the camera shot angle.
