Note

•  When the drain plug is loosened for draining, the drain plug O-ring can be reused.

1.  Remove the fuel tank side cover. (See FUEL TANK SIDE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

Note

•  If the water drainage is poor, disconnect the quick release connector shown in the figure. (See QUICK RELEASE CONNECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

2.  Loosen the drain plug and drain the water.

3.  Tighten the drain plug sufficiently.
