FUEL INJECTOR INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5]

Note

•  A fuel injector cannot be inspected as a single unit.

•  If a DTC is recorded, but there is no malfunction with a terminal or wiring harness, replace the fuel injector.

1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  Perform the KOER self test. (See KOEO/KOER SELF TEST [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

•  If DTC P0201:00, P0202:00, P0203:00, or P0204:00 is recorded, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.(See DTC P0201:00 [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)(See DTC P0202:00 [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)(See DTC P0203:00 [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)(See DTC P0204:00 [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

―  If a malfunction cannot be verified with a terminal or wiring harness by following the applicable DTC troubleshooting, repair or replace the fuel injector.(See FUEL INJECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

•  If no DTC is detected, the fuel injector is normal.
