NEUTRAL SWITCH INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5]

Continuity inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the air cleaner, the air hose, and the fresh-air duct assembly. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

3.  Remove the neutral switch. (See NEUTRAL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [F65M-R].) (See NEUTRAL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [F66M-R].)

4.  Inspect for continuity between neutral switch terminals A and D.
