DETECTION CONDITION
•  C0061:54, C0062:54
―  DSC HU/CM detects that the initialization procedure has not been performed
•  C0063:54
―  DSC HU/CM detects that the initialization procedure has not been performed
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION
Refer to DTC TABLE. (See DTC TABLE [DSC HU/CM].)
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•  Initialization procedure for the DSC related parts sensor not performed
―  Low-G sensor
―  Yaw rate sensor
•  SAS control module malfunction
•  DSC HU/CM malfunction

VERIFY INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE
•  Was the following DSC related parts sensor initialization procedure performed?
―  Lateral acceleration sensor (low-G sensor)
―  Longitudinal acceleration sensor (low-G sensor)
―  Yaw rate sensor
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Perform the DSC related parts sensor initialization procedure, then go to Step3.

VERIFY SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC
•  Using the M-MDS, perform the SAS control module DTC inspection.
•  Are any DTCs present?
Yes
Go to applicable DTC inspection.
DTC troubleshooting completed, then go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.
3
VERIFY DTC TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED
•  Using the M-MDS, clear the DTC from the DSC HU/CM.
•  Using the M-MDS, perform the DSC HU/CM DTC inspection.
•  Is the same DTC present?
Yes
Repeat the inspection from Step1
If the malfunction recurs, replace the DSC HU/CM, then go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY NO DTC IS PRESENT
•  Are any DTCs present?
Yes
Go to applicable DTC inspection.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
