FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION

1. Connect the joint pipe to headlight cleaner motor. (with headlight cleaner system)

2. Install the clips.

3. Connect the connectors.

4. Press in the front bumper in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and install the guide to the shroud panel.

5. Insert the pins into the front bumper.

6. Hook the front bumper to front bumper slider in the order show in the figure.

7. Install the fasteners.

8. Slightly bend back the front mudguard and install the screw.

9. Temporarily tighten the screws.

10. Adjust the front bumper position so that the clearance between the front bumper and the bonnet is within the specification.

Standard clearance

a: 2.3—5.9 mm {0.10—0.23 in}

b: 1.7—5.3 mm {0.07—0.20 in}

c: 2.3—5.9 mm {0.10—0.23 in}

11. Completely tighten the screws tightened temporarily in Step 7.

12. Verify that the gap between the front bumper and the bonnet is within the specification.

Standard clearance

a: 2.3—5.9 mm {0.10—0.23 in}

b: 1.7—5.3 mm {0.07—0.20 in}

c: 2.3—5.9 mm {0.10—0.23 in}

• If not within the specification, repeat from Step 7 to Step 10 until the clearance between the front bumper and the bonnet is within the specification.

13. Install the bolts.

14. Install the screws and fasteners which can be verified at the position where front under cover No.1 was pulled back.

15. Move the front under cover No.1 guide in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and insert it into the inner side of the front bumper.

16. Install the fasteners.

17. Install the fasteners and screws.

18. Install the screws.

19. Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
