Note

•  Fogging or condensation on the inside of the rear combination lights may occur due to a natural phenomenon occurring as a result of a temperature difference between the interior and exterior of the combination lights. However, it has no effect on the light performance because the temperature inside the rear combination lights rises after illuminating a rear turn light or a period of time has elapsed.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the service hole cover.

3.  Disconnect the connector.

4.  Remove the nuts in the order of (1), (2), and (3).

Caution

•  When removing the rear combination light from the body, it could interfere with the body and cause scratching or damage to the body. When removing the rear combination light from the body, apply protective tape to the body.

5.  To prevent scratches or damage, affix protective tape to the position shown in the figure.

Caution

•  When removing the rear combination light from the body, the grommet could fall off and become lost. When removing the rear combination light from the body, verify that the grommet remains in the body.

6.  Pull the rear combination light in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and pull out pin, stud bolts and hook from the body. (See Grommet Installation Note.)

7.  Remove the rear combination light.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Bulb type

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the screws in the order of (1) and (2).

Caution

•  When removing the rear combination light from the body, it could interfere with the body and cause scratching or damage to the body. When removing the rear combination light from the body, apply protective tape to the body.

3.  To prevent scratches or damage, affix protective tape to the position shown in the figure.

4.  Pull the rear combination light in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and pull out fastener and hook from the body.

5.  Turn the sockets counterclockwise and remove them in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure.

6.  While pressing the clip tab in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, pull the clip in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the clip tab from the rear combination light.

7.  Remove the rear combination light.

8.  Remove the grommet.

9.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

LED type

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the screws in the order of (1) and (2).

4.  Pull the rear combination light in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and pull out guide and hook from the body.

5.  Turn the socket counterclockwise and remove it in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure.

6.  While pressing the clip A tab in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, pull the clip A in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the clip A tab from the rear combination light.

7.  Disconnect the connector.

8.  While pressing the clip B tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, press the clip B in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the clip B tabs from the rear combination light.

9.  Remove the rear combination light.

10.  Remove the grommets.

11.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Grommet Installation Note

1.  Install the grommet with the arrow pointed outward of the vehicle.
