Continuity Inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the rear seat cushion. (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the service hole cover. (See FUEL TANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 1.3, SKYACTIV-G 1.5].)

4.  Disconnect the fuel pump unit connector.

5.  Inspect for continuity between fuel pump unit terminals A—B.
