POWER OUTER MIRROR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Fully close the front door glass.

• The procedure for routing the wiring harness of the power outer mirror to the backside of the glass guide can be performed smoothly by fully closing the front door glass.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
3. Remove the following parts:
- (1) Power window main switch (driver-side) (See POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
- (2) Power window subswitch (passenger-side) (See POWER WINDOW SUBSWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
- (3) Front door trim (See FRONT DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
- (4) Front door speaker (See FRONT DOOR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
4. Disconnect the connector.
5. Insert your hand through the front door speaker installation hole and remove the hooks.
6. Remove the bolts.
7. Pull the power outer mirror in the direction of the arrow while remove clip, pins.

• If clip of the power outer mirror is detached, the power outer mirror may fall off and be damaged. When detaching clip of the power outer mirror, hold the power outer mirror by hand during the servicing.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Power Outer Mirror Installation Note.)

• If a wiring harness is mistakenly routed when installing a power outer mirror, it will interfere with the front door glass when opening/closing the front door glass, and could result in an open circuit. When routing the wiring harness, route it behind the glass guide.
1. Insert your hand through the front door speaker installation hole and route the wiring harness behind the glass guide.
