REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Caution

•  When performing the procedure with a rear seat back removed from the vehicle, perform the procedure on a clean cloth so as not to damage or dirty the seat.

Note

•  When removing the rear seat back from the vehicle or putting it back in, it can be performed easier by removing the head restraint. (Except head restraint-integrated rear seat)

1.   When removing the left side seat back on signal or 6:4 split type seat, remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear center seat belt lower anchor securing bolt (See REAR CENTER SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Fold the rear seat back.

3.  Partially peel back the rear seat back trim and remove the bolts.

4.  Move the rear seat back to the position where the T-studs of the rear seat back frame can be released from the rear seat hinges.

5.  Move the rear seat hinges to the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and release the rear seat hinges from the T-studs of the rear seat back frame.

6.  Remove the rear seat back.

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
