SIDE COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the windshield wiper arm and blade. (See WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the cowl grille. (See COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

Caution

•  When detaching tab A from the dashboard upper panel, be careful not to drop tab A. Otherwise, tab A may fall off into the blower unit.

4.  Press tab A in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach it hooks from the dashboard upper panel.

5.  Pull the center cowl grill in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the clip from the dashboard upper panel.

6.  Pull the side cowl grille in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure while pressing tab B in the direction of arrow (1), and remove the side cowl grille while pulling out the boss.

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
