FRONT DOOR SPEAKER INSPECTION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2. Remove the following parts:

(1) Power window main switch (driver’s side) (See POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2) Power window subswitch (passenger’s side) (See POWER WINDOW SUBSWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3. Disconnect the front door speaker connector. (See FRONT DOOR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4. Inspect the resistance between front door speaker terminals B and C.

Front door speaker resistance

3.4—4.6 ohms

• If not within the specification, replace the front door speaker. (See FRONT DOOR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
